Mirabelle - 16 Month Old Milestones

Just thought I'd put an update on here about Mira's milestones. So now she knows too many words to count. I can draw her a picture of a shoe, a shirt, a crayon, a ball, a dog, a cracker, a dinosaur, etc., and she can tell me what it is. Some of her words are clearer than other words, but she's at a point where she can just repeat back words that I say to her and make associations. I'll try to write down words that she uses a lot.

mommy
daddy
bye
mom mom
pop pop
grandpop
kitty cat
quack quack quack (duck)
nay (horse)
oo-oo-aa--aa (monkey)
moew (cat)
panting noise (dog)
snort (pig)
buzz (bee of fly)
cracker
cookie
milk
car
crayon
shirt
shoe
bottle
ball
down
bless you (after a sneeze)
bucket
fish
book
read
star
phone
bird

Mirabelle can point to things, and if you ask her to point to her head, toes, nose, mouth, cheeks, hair, or knees, she can follow directions. She'll bring you things and all that jazz.

At sixteen months old, Mirabelle is obsessed with wearing her shoes. She always brings them over for me to put them on her. She has a bit of temper but is usually very sweet and happy. She loves to sit down and turn the pages for books. She also loves to be read to. I'll add to this if anything pops into my head in the next couple of days, but I'm going to the beach now!
